December 22, 2011 – DAY 22 | Urgency

December 22, 2011 – DAY 22 | Urgency: We are now 9 days away from the New Year!  This morning I realized that with so few days left that our focus today must be on “urgency”.

I was thinking about those who will read this blog and the 31 days to a New Year Challenge and do nothing to forward them to success. The thought was that for many there is no sense of urgency to grow or change. They have settled into a humdrum of life and don’t even realize it. It is when we realize that the pain of staying put is too great that we start to create that sense of urgency to change. Urgency will be the fuel that motivates you to make necessary changes. Without a sense of urgency you will likely be in the same place this time next year. When will you decide to turn the mediocre into the extraordinary?

Today I challenge you to write down the things you must create a sense of urgency for. What things are you going to start working on immediately with great passion to forward yourself to greater joy, freedom and living?
